Best way to mount unmounted stamps?

How does a person go about mounting unmounted rubber stamps on the wooden blocks? Just Super Glue or something like that, or is there a better way?

It depends on what the stamp is made from, old-fashioned rubber or newer polymer. Two-sided tape is going to be the best way if you really want them mounted on wood blocks, but that may not be necessary. If you check the craft store (Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, or your local shop) you should be able to find clear acrylic blocks very inexpensively.

By using a product called EZ Mount available from Sunday International (about $4 per 8×10 sheet) that you put on the back of the stamp you can have the stamp cling to any shiny surface, like acrylic blocks. You can have many stamps but only one block, they become interchangeable and easy to store too!

Finally- if you have the newest clear polymer there should be a cellophane backing that peels away leaving a sticky back that clings to any shiny surface, no adhesive required. This lets you see thru the acrylic mount and thru the stamp for perfect placement, and it is currently THE best way to do any kind of stamping. Rubber cement and super glue are positively NOT the way to go.
