how to get out a jammed pellet out of a daisy model 840 bb gun?
i put a used pellet in my Daisy bb gun by accident. how is a few tips on how to get it out? please no stupid answers.
A small cleaning rod or in a pinch and with knowledge …..a coat hanger bent/hammered straight and pushed in from breech end if break barrel or muzzle end if not a break open gun. Use some wd40 or some oil in the barrel on both sides. Work it back and forth until it moves in one direction easy and push it out. Be careful if you are using a coat hanger not to damage your barrel.
I would wait until you have a cleaning rod if you don’t have one. Make sure its for your caliber.
High pressure air works too. Do this in the garage so that the oil does not make a mess.
I have done this before…….clean your gun after and ck out the barrel and clean the barrel good with a cleaning rod. You should have a cleaning kit for your caliber in .177 or .22. Walmart has them for under 10.00.
